St. Ambrose University invites applications for an experienced and strategic Director of Undergraduate Admissions to lead the university’s undergraduate recruitment and admissions strategy. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, this key leader will guide the university’s efforts to meet enrollment goals, shape the incoming class, and elevate St. Ambrose’s reputation among prospective students, families, and key influencers. The Director will oversee undergraduate recruitment on the Davenport campus and coordinate strategies with affiliated institutions, including Mount Mercy University, ensuring alignment with the university’s mission, academic programs, and strategic priorities.
This role is responsible for supervising and developing the undergraduate admissions counseling team, guiding territory management, and creating data-informed recruitment plans that respond to market trends and demographic shifts. The Director will co-lead application review and policy oversight, collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Aid on scholarship communication and net price messaging, and partner with the Director of Campus Guest Experience to deliver compelling yield events and on-campus engagement opportunities. Working alongside enrollment marketing, operations, and academic departments, the Director will ensure a seamless and student-centered admissions process.
