Graduate Assistant | Athletic Administration

Position Summary

Mount Mercy University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Administration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting all aspects of Game management, support and assist athletic administration with supervision, event setup, operation and break down. Contribute in supervision of athletic facilities, report equipment inventory issues, communicate with manufacturers, and monitor daily usage of athletic facilities.

Graduate assistant in athletic administration will support the execution of special athletic events including but not limited to: award banquets, all-athlete meeting, MMU Golf Classic and athletic hall of fame ceremony. Working exclusively with the Assistant Athletic Director with the hiring of staff, coordinating volunteers, fundraising, and supporting the six-week summer program.

Graduate assistant in athletic administration will also assist the sports information director with game day preparation including setup of relevant technology (video, audio, livestream production) as well as social media content curation to improve the visibility of Mustang athletics.
