Simulation Director

Mount Mercy University is a private, coeducational, Catholic institution with strong professional and liberal arts programs. The Mount Mercy University Martin-Herold College of Nursing & Health seeks a Simulation Director in the undergraduate program starting August 11, 2025. The Simulation Director is responsible for the Clinical Simulation Lab (CSL) and includes teaching in the CSL. The CSL is designed to be a safe learning environment, where students can collaborate to address clinical challenges, practice clinical skills, and enhance communication, clinical judgement, confidence and competence.

Job Qualifications

  1. Masters degree in Nursing
  2. Academic experience desirable
  3. Health care system experience desirable
  4. Experience with budgeting desirable
  5. Leadership and management experience desirable
  6. Exemplary planning and time management skills
  7. Excellent knowledge of database software (such as Excel) and MS Office and University database software
  8. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  9. High level verbal, listening and written communications skill
