Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Position Description

Mount Mercy is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time, 12-month, Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.

Primary responsibility is to provide leadership in the development of a first-year women’s lacrosse program set to begin competition in the NAIA and Heart of America Athletic Conference in 2024-25. Ideal candidate must have experience coaching high school, club or collegiate lacrosse and proven ability to recruit high quality student-athletes who will compete at an NAIA championship level.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however candidates with extensive and successful experience playing/or coaching lacrosse and an ability to demonstrate a commitment to high academic standards will be considered.

The successful candidate must also demonstrate a willingness to support Mount Mercy’s mission, which is a Catholic University providing student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.
