About

Nikki Robson has been a lecturer of nursing at Mount Mercy University since 2016.

She has experience teaching senior, sophomore and first-year level nursing courses, and also teaches in the nursing simulation lab on campus. Her main areas of interests include oncology, palliative care, hospice, preventative medicine and patient education.

Robson completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Mount Mercy College in 2005. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Iowa, College of Nursing. Robson is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Before Mount Mercy, Robson gained experience working as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in an Oncology/Hematology Clinic and also at a local hospital in Outpatient Palliative Care and Hospice. She was the Advanced Practice Nurse for a local hospitals home care program. Lastly, Robson also has experience working as a Registered Nurse in the fields of Neurology, Neurological Surgery, Oncology, Hematology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Medical and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT), home care and an outpatient infusion center. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family. She also enjoys playing piano and exercising.
