Build on your health care experience and further your career

Mount Mercy University’s health care leadership degree helps students with an AAS degree advance their careers, develop leadership skills, and build business competencies.

Health care leadership majors gain hands-on experience in project management, research, scheduling, billing, and other activities related to health care management. Build on your existing associate’s degree to take the next step in your health services career.

The health care leadership program coursework is available on-campus and online (on-demand). Balance your work, home, and school life with the support of faculty and staff helping you succeed.

Choose your format

Stay up-to-date in the constantly changing field of health care.

Learn from anywhere with our online (on-demand) classes, where you'll complete coursework each week at a time/place that works best for you.

This pathway allows you to effectively balance work, school, and life. Build your schedule with 9 start dates year-round and 5- and 10-week block classes.

The on-campus modality offers courses in-person at the semester pace.

This is a great option for students wanting a residential, on-campus experience, or who are comfortable commuting to classes during the day.

Five of the required major classes are only offered online.
