KEVIN FOHT ’10 | BS Business Kevin Foht ’10 was able to switch careers because of MMU’s flexible course schedule. Based off of nominations from his coworkers, Foht was named a “30 under 35” business professional for his achievements as inventory manager—proving the switch was worth it.

Would life be different for Jessica (Shadle) Johnson ’01 if she hadn’t attended Mount Mercy? “I don’t think I would have been as successful and as happy as I am now,” says Johnson. “I was able to build my self-confidence at Mount Mercy, and figure out what I love. I also wouldn’t have met my husband. Together, we have a beautiful daughter!”

KUTZTOWN, Pa., Oct. 18 — Dr. Amy Pfeiler-Wunder '97 has been named the 2017 Pennsylvania Outstanding Higher Ed Art Educator by the Pa. Art Education Association (PAEA).  She is a professor of art education at Kutztown University.  She will receive her award at the state conference held Oct. 19 – 22 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

A double major in criminal justice and nursing may seem like an unusual educational pairing, but it was the perfect combination for Megan Rausch ’07. As an accounting and business administration major, Kathy (Halvorsen) Enstrom ’96 didn’t expect to land an internship in criminal investigation with the Internal Revenue Service. But after a friend saw a job announcement posted outside of associate professor Steve Gilmour’s office, Enstrom’s 21-year career with the government agency began.
