CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Mount Mercy Volleyball team is already 4 games into their season, but they couldn't go any further without officially signing their newest player. 14-year-old Alexis Bezilla of Marion was signed to the team Monday. Milwaukee, Wis. - The Mount Mercy Mustangs opened the 2018 season with a strong start at the Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) Tournament this weekend. The Mustangs swept three of their four opponents ending the weekend with a record of 3-1. On Friday, August 17, the Mustangs defeated College of Saint Mary (Neb.) 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-18) in their first match of the night.
