CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Mustangs wrapped up their season at home with two Heart of America Conference wins this weekend. After a defeat of the Vikings of Missouri Valley College Friday night, the Mustangs carried momentum into Saturday to dominate the Yellowjackets of Graceland University in a similar fashion. In the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top 10 Poll, the Mustangs remained at the nine spot. Overall, the Mustangs hold a 15-6 record on the season and a 7-1 conference record.In the 4-1 (25-21, 25-14, 23-25, 25-17) win over the Vikings.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – A month ago the Mustangs stormed onto the Vikings' home court and shocked the nation with an incredible 3-2 comeback win over the then-ranked No. 1 Grand View University. Tonight, the two teams met again and the Vikings returned the favor with a 3-0 (19-25, 22-25, 18-25) sweep of the Mustangs.

Mount Mercy University was named a 2018–19 College of Distinction based on engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities, and successful outcomes. The university also received program-specific recognition in business, education and nursing.

A new series from Mount Mercy University’s social work program aims to bring awareness to the many types of trauma people experience and its impact on their lives. The series, titled Building a Trauma Informed Community, utilizes an award-winning documentary, a panel of community professionals, and speakers from the field to explore adverse events that can lead to trauma, examine how individuals can develop resilience despite exposure to trauma, and introduce innovative programming for working with survivors.

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Mustangs' indoor track and field season was brought to a close this weekend as seven individuals competed at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championship. Two Mustangs collected All-American awards for their performances.
