Students, please check Brightspace for more information from your professors. Employees classified as essential (Facilities & Public Safety) should check with their supervisor regarding their work schedule.
For anyone remaining on campus, please be mindful of snow removal equipment as teams work diligently to clear sidewalks, streets, and parking areas. Please also keep an eye out for snow emergency-related parking announcements, and follow all instructions outlined in such announcements.

“Students completing MMU’s Teaching Licensure Pathway are fully licensed to teach in the state of Iowa and will join the strong tradition of Mount Mercy educators making an impact on future generations,” said Jennifer Rasmussen, professor of education and department chair.
Two licensure options are available: elementary education and secondary education with endorsement areas in English, history, biology, mathematics, business, art and music.
Students completing MMU’s Teaching Licensure Pathway are fully licensed to teach in the state of Iowa and will join the strong tradition of Mount Mercy educators making an impact on future generations.
Students pursuing a secondary licensure can complete the program in 12 months, while those pursuing an elementary licensure can complete the program in 18 months.
Students may be eligible for financial aid opportunities, including the Iowa Tuition Grant, Federal TEACH Grant, federal student loans and more.
