Presenting at the Expo
Each team had 17 minutes to highlight their entrepreneurial projects during the exposition. Mount Mercy’s team presented the Market at the Mount, Some Day: One Day, and H.O.S.E. during that time. Market at the Mount brought in over 1,800 people who spent almost $33,000 on 75 local vendors. Some Day: One Day helped launch online web markets for three vendors. H.O.S.E, Holding Out Shooters Effectively, worked sustainably by repurposing firehoses into safety sleeves for schools in active shooter situations.

Recognition
Senior Trevor Hartz, a Blairstown native, was a top three finalist for the Project Leader of the Year Award. Senior Blake Seda, a Swisher native, was a semi-finalist for the Executive Leader of the Year Award. Seda was a top ten finalist.
Enactus President & junior Annie Ertz, a native of Central City, was a finalist for the Jules & Gwenn Knapp Scholarship, a $10,000 academic scholarship that recognizes an Enactus student’s teamwork, leadership and educational achievements. Ertz would have been Mount Mercy’s first student to receive this award. She was a top five finalist for the scholarship and earned a $2,000 award.
